This concept was a response to a battle of the concepts challenge from Gemeente Ede. I wanted to help and find a solution to their problem because I care about the environment and thought it would be a fun challenge.

I started out with some brainstorming and made a selection of the best concepts after that. Eventually, I chose Codebin as the best solution. Codebin is a modified trashcan that will register when somebody throws away their trash. In exchange for that piece of trash, Codebin or Cobi for short, will give out a coupon code. This coupon code can then be used for a discount at one of the local shops.

This solution is targeted at students and youth that may otherwise throw their trash on the ground. With Cobi we hope to give them some motivation to throw not only their own, but maybe even some stray trash away.
